In Memory of Mahathma Gandhi

Dear readers,

In this small publication I have tried to give you a brief information about
collecting "Mahatma Gandhi" on stamps, postcards, envelopes,
aerogrammes, labels/Cinderellas. All the items are from my collection. It
is not possible to show everything available. That would cause this
publication to be too large. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy going through the
pages which give you some history of this Great Soul. I do think what
Gandhiji stood for; i~ still valid today, may be even more for the times to
come.

I am extremely grateful to the man who has made this publication possible,
viz; H.E. Asoke Mukerji (Consul General) in the Consulate General of
India in Dubai. Without his enthusiasm and encouragement this would
have been impossible to publish.

As a Norwegian collecting Mahatma Gandhi with all the difficulties I had
in the beginning I would like to extend my thanks to two persons who have
helped me to build this collection. They also have a great love and passion

I am dedicating this publication to my wife Ann-Mari who has been
extremely patient during all these years of my stamp collecting.
